Hey, I bet you're a little bit like me.

I'm Courtney Siebring and I love words - writing them, reading them, saying them into a microphone.  We may have that in common.

 

I was created to create.  Now, I know we have that in common.  Sometimes the making is as simple as a sandwich and other times it's a poem.  But that thing in us that drives us to make, to cultivate, to spread beauty and to seek out the beauty around us, knocks on the door of my heart daily.  It gets me out of bed in the morning, has me on my knees looking at the dewdrop on the flower petal, and weeping when the choir reaches the crescendo.

Imago Dei - created in the image of God means, among other things, that we were created to create.  Like our Creator.  Go figure.
